Paola Grizi is an Italian sculptress, particularly known for her unique terracotta and bronze book sculptures. Her artwork is focused on the human emotions. Faces, eyes, hands appear suddenly through the pages of her book-sculptures, making them alive, and questioning the public about their stories. Inspiration fills the pages with illegible characters keeping the mystery and allowing the dream to go on.
Among the pictures you can see the process to make “looking ahead”, a monumental bronze sculpture, made for “Double Jeu” in Les Jardins d’Etretat (France).
