In 2002, I went to Japan for the first time and fell in love with it. Back then I only took random snapshots of graffiti with my 3 megapixel Sony, but as the years went by I made more trips and bought better gear, and eventually started getting better as a photographer. The small cluttered alleys and the general mood of Japan has always been a big influence for me, especially at night. Of course I take pics in my hometown Helsinki as well, but Japan will always have a special place in my heart. When I’m not taking pictures, I work as an Art Director.
