As an abstract artist Caroline Cook founded hundertzwanzig in 2019 to serve as an umbrella brand for her work. She studied Graphic Design in Vienna and started working in the design field only to realise that art is what she lives for and fully commit to.
Her work consists mainly of paintings and collages on canvasses on which she works with mixed media. She believes that you cannot categorise art into sections, everything is a mixture of something. This is why she combines her past graphic experiences with the roughness of free art to try and create something new and different. Art is not a medium to make something look pretty but to create something that awakens emotion. The goal is to put chaos into order. Disturbances are where we realise where we need to change.
