Tanya Shatseva depicts metaphysical scenes and subjects in dream-like states. She explores the beauty of tricky human mind generating boundaryless intricate illusions, themes of existentialism and love in all guises. Her acrylic paintings in the genre of surrealism are a merging of demonic and pure, scientific and mythological. Each piece challenges the viewer to dive beyond reality dogmas and allow the alternate universes to reveal.
Currently Tanya resides in Saint Petersburg, Russia. In 2010 she took the path of a full-time self-taught painter, developed a unique style and gained a wide-broad audience through social media. Now her works are shown in various galleries and held in private collections all around the world.
