Ivan Rodriguez , designer and digital graphic artist, passionate about the aesthetics of the collage the photomontage and photomanipulation by the ability of these techniques to wildly mixed bits of stories and images seemingly unrelated and restore new realities, new readings, which can be wonderfully absurd and shocking, dreamlike or surreal, critical or biting, introspective or humorous.
I enjoy combining all kinds of images that I get through different media, from a huge amount of my own photographs that I take for this purpose, to old or current magazines or free images from the net.
The result goes a bit along two lines, one is one more classic collage style, scissors, paper and glue (digital in my case), and the other, even starting from the same technique, ends up taking me to more elaborate landscapes. style … cosmic / surreal … let’s call it.
Although I love to manipulate the images, I also really enjoy doing street photography , when the stars line up and I get to travel, it is when I am most motivated to do so, because the fact of looking for photography, contrary to what it may seem, makes you be very present, pay attention to the details, the colors, the lights, the shadows, the textures, the people, the environment, in the moment. And it’s cool.
I like graphic design in general , beautiful graphic things, visuals, well done, I admire it when I see it, so I try, in my design work, to make you the most beautiful poster, the most beautiful business card, the logo most beautiful and that best represents you, the clearest, most visual, concise, readable and original flyer that I am capable of, I will try to make the image of your brand / company / project as creative and attractive as possible.
