My name is Cody Muir, I’m a Maine-based Illustrator and I love approaching work through a lens of mood and atmosphere. I take any chance I can to get outside and just take in the world, I have a great appreciation both for nature and for architecture and love finding ways to weave both into my body of work. I especially enjoy taking snapshots of interesting corners, alleys, vistas, etc. and finding ways to illustrate a story around them in dreamlike colors and moody tones. I work primarily as an editorial and commercial illustrator with a client list including The Washington Post, Politico EU, and Women’s Health UK. I’ve also had my work recognized by American Illustration, the World Illustration Awards, 3×3, and Communication Arts.
