David grew up reading MAD Magazine and Marvel Comics and has always been drawn in by graphic imagery. He began illustration work at an early age which lead to a career in graphic design. Fast forward many years and David has found a love and passion for photography and video work. He describes his photography style as creating graphic imagery through capturing landscapes, mostly from the sky, and then editing them to look as breathtaking as they appear in his imagination.
Pastel skies and soft blue ocean surf shots are a favourite subject matter and feature heavily throughout his work. David is currently exploring all areas of camera work including portraiture and surf imagery from the water, having recently acquired a housing for his beloved GH5 camera. His images range from the coasts of Queensland to Tasmania, to the Southern Highlands of NSW and the Blue Mountains but mostly recognisable for his home on the Northern Beaches of Sydney.”
