I am a 24 year-old painter from California, studying the classic tradition of oil painting and paint-making using mostly inorganic pigments. I have studied figure drawing and painting, as well as printmaking, receiving awards at Sierra College and frequently participating at the Crocker Museum annual Art Auction in Sacramento, California.
Currently, I am working on studying the craft of making paint and the techniques used by the old masters. My work explores themes of catharsis, anxiety, as well as classical and historic-inspired compositions.
