João Paulo de Carvalho is a visual artist, painter and teacher. He studied painting at the School of Fine Arts of Paraná (2015-2019) and at the atelier of the Alfredo Andersen Museum (2014-2018). In his production he seeks to understand how contemporary issues, especially about the relationship between the subject and the place, can be approached through drawing and painting. Participated in the Visual Arts Development and Experimentation Project – Sesc Paço da Liberdade (2017) in the exhibition In case of hiccups; at the University Circuit of the Biennial of Curitiba – CUBIC 3 at Solar do Barão (2017) at the State of Alert exhibition; and Subordinated Materiality – Bienal de Curitiba 25 anos (2018), at Riviso Galeria de Arte.
