Magdalena Iulia Moscu is a visual artist, born in 1988, living and working in Brasov, Romania. She received a B.A. in Letters, Librarianship and Information Science at the Faculty of Letters, State University of Bucharest, Romania and works with both painting. Magdalena’s paintings shows a series of portraits that break ranks and want to show that people can get out of the box. The characters portrayed in her works are proof of the event in different patterns or framing against social norms. Portraits causes the onset of various moods. Nothing is hidden, everything is in sight. She tried to create characters who express feelings and moods, and vivid colors to lure the viewer, in order to reawaken the feelings. These feelings can often be contradictory and can invade a person within the same time.
