These works are from the Australian Goddess Series, 2020-2021.Inspired by my wonderful friends who are strong and soft, courageous and broken, gentle and fierce, enduring and gorgeously spontaneous – in this series I wanted to celebrate all of the Australian Goddesses I know and our innate need to connect to the beauty and power found in our landscape. The works on paper take around 5-6 days each to complete and are comprised of thousands of tiny details, striations of watercolour washes, darker flecks of pigment here and there and intricate tribal patterns.
