In my work, my focus is to capture the spirit and the feeling of what I see or what comes to mind…memories, feelings, and mood.
Every landscape is a new challenge spiritually and emotionally,there is so much to take in but I find myself thinking “less is more”.
Using oil and cold wax I layer texture and colour through the use of various palette knives. I enjoy tweaking colour and my moody colour palette provides me with a soothing and calming feeling which is reflected in my work.
