I live in Sacramento, California. My current work started as a combination of lived memories and experiences in nature that I’ve sought to translate through painting. Geographically, the allure of the ocean, the Sierras, and other preserved natural spaces has always pulled me. This process has been something I have just recently begun to explore, as I had been on a hiatus from painting for about 7 years. Though seemingly visually isolating, these paintings are a reflection of my connection to space and memory, which I find fulfilling.
