These night photos are from a recent photo project I’ve been working on for vintage neon lights in the Western U.S.. The photos were all taken very recently.
RED STONE INN (with vintage black car) was from Moab, Utah
THE RIO LODGE was from Mesa, Arizona
TRAILS WEST MOTEL (with teal “M” and missing “T” was also from Mesa, Arizona
LAURELHURST THEATRE is from Portland, Oregon
REXALL DRUGS SIGN is from Portland, Oregon.
Interestingly, Mesa, Arizona claims to have a Vintage Neon Sign Preservation Society, but sadly there are very few neon signs along Main Street that are fully lit up. I felt it important to try and get some nice pictures of the signs that are still lit up while I have a chance!
