I create an aesthetic that I call Neopunk. I am interested in human self-expression, self-determination, psychological freedom. Neopunk is not a rebellion against something external, as it was in punk. This is an inner feeling. This is the moment when a person becomes himself, realizes his freedom, overcoming fear, shame, guilt. When a person accepts their frightening and inevitable uniqueness.
In the process of work, I listen to certain music that I try to get used to.
First, I create acrylic abstraction, applying various spontaneous techniques, trying to capture my synesthetic experiences. This is how a surreal world appears on the canvas, inside which I find its inhabitant. With the help of acrylic paint, I pull him out of oblivion, clothe him in flesh.
