I’ve been playing around with painting from abstraction in my recent work, I’ve been studying the artist ‘Theo Prins’ and his concept work which heavily employs this practice and trying to inject it into my own work. These are the results of some of those experiments which often lead to wild and imaginative scenes and environments that you couldn’t conceivably think up without the abstraction process, I thought this ended itself well to fantasy world building in which me and a good friend are currently collaborating on.
