I would like to introduce my series of paintings the ‘Naked Island’ which I have been working on over the past 4 years. This is a world I have been creating in paintings which link the more successful ideas over my career as a painter in a confined space which forces me to further explore and create interesting plays between those ideas. There are secrets and clues hidden within the works and most of the paintings in the series are no longer around either because I destroyed them or felt they didn’t quite fit and deleted them. There are quite a few of these works still online if you look hard enough and they may help to give you a deeper understand of the island and what is going on.
