MATTHEW PIGRAM

I’ve only been taking photos for around two years now. I started in late 2021, bought my first camera (Pentax KM) and since then I’ve been hooked and haven’t stopped! I feel I shoot a broad range of photos but recently I’ve been interested in capturing urban landscapes, moments and street photography. I look for things that are in plain sight, unusual light or just normal day to day objects and people. I’ve not really started any projects recently and I’m still honing my skills and finding my feet as a creative.

The pictures I’ve included are some recent shots I’ve been really happy with. They’re a mixture of moments, urban landscape and ‘banal’ photography. I think one I’m really happy with currently is the shot of the park with the euromix mortar silos in the background. I’m also very fond of the donuts at golden hour. These were captured on a Sony RX100III and a Pentax KM with IlfordHP5.

I’m always open to collaborating with people or photowalks if you’re ever in the Southampton area, so please reach out to me on my socials!
