“I am drawing buildings. I am drawing beautiful buildings, historical buildings, ugly buildings, cottages in magical forests, lighthouses worn out by the sea, old factories. I love capturing the dust on their walls, the marks that people and nature leave to them. I love studying their forms, the shapes that we are giving to them through time in different places of earth.
After years working as an architect, I wanted to explore buildings in a different way. I started using watercolors with ink three years ago, in 2020. I am trying not to worry too much about the right perspective and the exact proportions. I am making an effort to create lively paintings, most of the time doing colourful pieces with big splashes and flecks.”
