I’ve been driving the American road for more than 20 years and shooting what I find there. From the first trip I was attracted to the surreal within mythic landscapes familiar from movies, music and books. Recently I’ve been experimenting with placing objects within those landscapes. I shoot with a Mamiya 7 medium format film camera with a fixed lens, the same camera I’ve used since that first trip in 2001.
