These recent works focus on objects (as opposed to scenery/ context) to force the viewer to notice the same aspects of the city I do. Inspired by Andy Warhol’s Soup cans and more contemporary artists, like Brett Amory and Tyrrell Winston, I remove objects from their context, to force further consideration and attention to their individuality and surface textures.Â
