My name is Marioly and I’m a light seeker. I believe in art as an expression and distillation of beauty hidden in ethereal realms.
After starting in photography and design, harnessing light became my central inspiration. A journey that led me into the natural world, I learned the art of mindful observation and contemplation to uncover beauty, balance and harmony hidden in unexpected places.
Descending deeper, I started to attribute certain energetic or vibrational properties to unearth colours. I felt instinctively drawn to pastels, as they held more soft and gentle light frequency within them. Personified in my first book, Pastel Moods, I explored how colour influences our emotional state; a fruition of the feminine delicacy of nature.
From reading akashic records, studying sacred geometry, and understanding energy patterns, to using Reiki to infuse my creativity with loving energy, I’ve intertwined a floral alchemy throughout my work.
Flowers remain my biggest ally and the pinnacle of my energy. They are portals to altered states of consciousness, allowing me to transcribe an ethereal realm through lens or paint.
Here, my true nature is depicted in making the invisible visible. Through experimental and contemplative photography processes, I combine material colours with shapes seen in visions I encounter in nature and during meditations.
