Kristin is a digital artist from Stockholm who primarily works with vector graphics. Her artworks are often characterized by atmospheric indoor environments where a lot of focus lies on light, shadows, color and contrast. The style is largely inspired by American realism and artists such as Edward Hopper and Robert McGinnis. In addition to an obvious cat theme that has been present in her work since she was little, she features many of her subjects from a perspective of solitude. It can be about a moment of anticipation, boredom or introspection – sometimes with elements of subtle surreal or dreamlike elements and a glimpse of humor.
