This series interprets the long-term stages that Hawaii has moved through, moulding its present existence. Layers of the work display cycles of untouched ocean & land, aboriginal life, and the rapid movement into “modern” time. I see Hawaii serving as a microcosm where harmony, power, resilience and preservation are all pushing towards imminent balance.
