I’m a painter, illustrator and mural artist currently based in Leeds, UK. My primary medium traditional gouache, although I dabble in watercolour, pencil, ink and acrylic. My journey as an artist began two years ago when I took a year out to go backpacking in South East Asia. At the time I had no idea what I wanted to do, art was the only thing that came naturally to me so I decided to try selling my work.
For a while I focussed mainly on just improving my core skills, but recently I’ve been allowing my artwork to be influenced by my emotions, so even though it may look like just a pretty picture, a lot of the time there’s an intention behind it.
Moving forward I’m focussing on both mural painting and my fine art paintings. In the coming year, if current events allow, I’d love to take part in a group or solo gallery show.
