I’ve always been interested in architecture, but when I began film photography I found that I was never really satisfied with a clean image or a straight shot. I have considered myself a digitial artist in the past, so the need to always play with an image and alter it is second nature.
As I became more confident with analogue photography I decided to shoot regular Kodak or Fuji films and then soup them. For me this was the perfect bridge between art and photography, plus the unexpected results are interesting and creative to see.
These images are from three different film rolls with slightly different soup recipes, but I think they go together well because of the vibrant colours and the focus on architecture.
