Ximena Arias is an Illustrator and Graphic designer based in Bogotá – Colombia.
Her work has been exhibited in Colombia, Germany, Portugal, Russia, and Perú.
Through her work, she intends to portray universes where the real and the unreal come together to give form to what usually dwells inside us -from dreams to our deepest fears-. she tries to find answers to what constantly wanders inside the mind and make sense of it through imagery.
As an illustrator, she has worked on editorial projects, film poster design, music art covers. Her illustration process includes pencil, ballpoint pen or ink drawing on paper, and digital colouring.
