TEO CRAWFORD

“Im Hall der Ungewissheit”

From 2019 until mid 2022 I’ve built a collection of around 150 – 200 photographs, which I am currently still selecting to reduce the total amount, that picture a representation of a time in my life, which I believe is pretty relatable for most people in their early twenties. A time of uncertainty, when whichever direction you look, you only see silhouettes through the fog. I love how the fog in every photo seems like a physical manifestation of uncertainty. This body of work was made during my time in uni in my home town in Austria. Since I’ve moved to a new city it feels like that chapter has ended and I’m now ready to sequence the photos in a way that tells the story of these years. I think the style of photography can be described as atmospheric staged photography.
