Born and been living in cities ever since I became more and more drawn to nature and mountains when I started to take pictures with old medium format cameras. Above all, shooting snow and fog began to exert an insatiable fascination on me. Whenever it is foggy, I grab my camera and try to capture it on film. In foggy weather you are inevitably more alone in the mountainside than in sunny weather, even in tourist hotspots. You feel more lost on the one hand, but also more focused on the other. Everything seems infinite and unclear, but at the same time less distracting, less material.
