In my drawings, I explore the contrast of beauty and distortion which reveals the duality of human nature. With colored pencils, I create abstract realistic drawings with a focus on dark and mysterious elements interacting with delicate, beautiful aspects of nature. Surrealistic shapes, hands, and figures represent the complex energies and characteristics of people. While these elements are both in high contrast to each other, they come together to make a stunning and alluring composition of imagery that demonstrates harmony and unity within the universe.
