Camilla Skye (b.1990, Denmark) is a multidisciplinary artist working in painting, drawing and photography. She is currently residing in Bali, Indonesia, where she spends time exploring the rich, volcanic nature and its neighbouring islands.
I am interested in interpreting the natural environment and the emotions that arise in us, when we are engulfed in nature. Currently my work explores textures and shapes that occur in geologic and volcanic landscapes while implementing bold and dreamy colors. Through these a visceral translation is created and reflects the relationship between the inner, most emotional world and the physical realm we are surrounded by.
