For this collection, it was fitting to dive into my roots as an artist and the memories that have shaped me. ‘Where I Come From’ serves as a cumulation of specific past memories, as well as current memories in the making. Memory is such a large part of my work since I take experiences and turn them into cohesive, tangible pieces of abstract art. From easy memories like the first time I jumped into an ocean to harder memories like overcoming trauma, all of these pieces represent a part of me and my journey through this life.
