Alice Koswara is a graphic designer and contemporary artist. She lives in San Francisco with her husband, artist Eric Broers and their two cats. She graduated from the Academy of Art University with a BFA in Graphic Design in 2001. She works with acrylic, watercolor, sumi ink and gouache.

Her latest work is a series of female portraits done in watercolor and sumi ink. She integrates female portraits with graphic patterns and abstract shapes. The shapes are formed organically with the unpredictability of watercolor.
