My artwork often focuses upon beauty, exploration, and human lenses of the conscious and subconscious mind. This is communicated through a wide variety of styles and media to best convey my intended emotions or experiences. I enjoy taking watercolor paints or drawing supplies with me into the outdoors and capturing the feel of that place and time. I also create music (onewaydoor.bandcamp.com), and love spending time backpacking and fly fishing in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, my home state. I graduated from Colorado State University with a BA in Art Education and am currently teaching high school art.
