My name is Danko Maksimović.
I was born in Sarajevo. During my life I have been moving a lot, until I finally settled in Belgrade, Serbia, where I live for 15 years now. My work is mostly inspired by the French Novuelle Vague cinema movement. Besides, I enjoy visual aspect of European film style from the second part of 20th century. I draw inspiration from films with impressive cinematography and favourite one is Christiane F. by Uli Edel. I would describe my style as an homage to that type of aesthetic, using analogue photography as a way to capture the vintage atmosphere.
