My name is Thea (Tea) Mamukelashvili.
I was born in Telavi, Georgia on March 4, 1979.
I graduated Telavi State University in 2001. I was planning to be Biology teacher but never worked by profession. I have always loved making art.
I am married and have three sons.
I am a self taught artist. I have been embroidering since I was 5 years old and started painting in 2017. I was working on designing clothes for women made from natural sheep and merino wool. I do not follow any common embroidery or stitching pattern.
I follow my self-imaginary embroidery technique and create it afterward.
All these works are made by my fantasy and materials used are canvas, oil, paint, acrylic, handmade felt, natural silk, cotton, golden and silver threads. There are few artists in the world who have a similar style of me.
I have had six personal art shows in Georgia. Except of my personal works I have worked on the project “Embroidered Coat of Arms of Georgian Kings and Noble Families”. I think my Embroidery of Georgia’s Coat of Arms looks very nice.
I also made Handmade embroidery seals of UK, USA, Romania. I also plan in the future to make all 50 seals of the United states.
I have lived in Cincinnati, Ohio since 2010.
I am working as a seamstress/tailor and also do art at home.
You can also check out my website www.ArtsByThea.com. Feel free to use my website as my art source.
Sometimes I sell my artworks to support my future art with new materials and supplies. I do not have any other type of social media other than my website because I prefer to spend my time making art than being on social media.
