My art style is based on the philosophical idea of “Memento Mori”, which translates to “Reminder of the inevitability of Death”.
It’s an ancient philosophy that encourages people to think about the fact that they will die eventually and thus they should live their life as if every day were their last.
I pick Gods, demigods and other immortal beings as the subjects of my art because it creates this shock-factor in the viewer when they see these beings portrayed in death.
Sort of like a “even gods die” kind of thing!
