Kevin Scott Davis is an artist & musician who grew up in the foothills of Northern California, currently living in Georgia with his wife & son.
He is a graduate of Seattle Pacific University, where he received a B.A. in Music Composition with a minor in English Literature in 2002.
After spending 20 years as a touring musician and recording artist featured in media such as NPR, Pitchfork, HBO, and This American Life, Kevin began to have the desire to return to the simplicity of the pencil and paper he loved so much as a child.
In June of 2021, he began a meditative, non-technology centered practice of drawing every day, using only the simplest of analog tools. Initially intended as a broader personal growth experiment, Kevin quickly fell in love with the challenges and subtleties found in drawing the human form. He is currently focused on portraits, sharing his progress on Instagram as a way of
documenting the results of focused practice over time.
When not drawing, Kevin is writing or recording music with Glowworm, an internationally recognized ambient rock band with over 30 million streams on Spotify.
