These objects that I assemble and recycle to divert them from their usual uses represent a very stimulating constraint artistically. It leads to curious chimeras, to characters who write new stories, thanks to the postures that allow me to create a narrative and an emotion into each piece.
The raw material found at home, in the streets or in nature, I collect it, twist it, screw it, assemble it and finally recycle it to create a new artistic universe. It is a breath of fantasy that is born from debris. For me, creating these sculptures is injecting urban fantasy into our daily lives.
This fantasy can be dark, tortured, strange, funny, and it must above all stimulate the imagination. It should create poetry in the rubbish and give life to what we throw away.
