Alana is an emerging artist focusing on the mundane but supremely important moments in life and capturing those details in her small-scale drawings and large scale paintings. She is self-taught and uses primarily water based ink markers on watercolour paper and acrylic paint on canvas. She began drawing in 2021, capturing her drawings on a small scale of 2”x3” and in 2024 has emerged into the realm of paint on canvas, primarily capturing detailed tablescapes.
Alana finds inspiration in the ordinary moments that often go unnoticed—the clink of glasses during a cheerful gathering, the warmth of a morning routine, or the shared laughter of friends over martinis.
