I started theladyernestember as a hobby project to kill time and of course, to pursue my passion in the arts. Being in Singapore, I was a really hardworking student who would spend my whole day doing homework and preparing for exams. After completing my A-levels, I felt lost and came across Threadless. It gave me an idea to start my own art page and I started to hone my design skills. Prior to this, I taught myself Photoshop and often help to design stuff in school for free. Now, I am planning to design for some passive income (and maybe for a living, future). I hope this project can inspire my peers that you can still pursue your passion, even when you have been stuck in school for more than 10+ years. Also, I did this with no support from my ex-classmates and schoolmates. Hopefully, this project can inspire those who feel insecure about the lack of support from their friends. Pursue what you like, even if people around you do not necessarily support you. (In the near future, I will be pursuing a degree in both Engineering and Medicine, so I might spend less time on theladyernestember!).
Regarding my artworks, I like to draw using Photoshop and Infinite Painter (app) when I am on my way back home. I enjoy drawing cute animals and objects that makes me and other people feel happy. I do enjoy making landscapes drawing too, although my followers seem to prefer the cute animals and objects. I hope to showcase my music too, in the near future, when I have grown a steady following.
